Hello Parents & Students,
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Years. As we begin our new year so starts the official beginning of the 2nd trimester of Band. Please feel free to start sending in payments at any time. I will send home paper statement reminders by the end of this week.
Our goals for your students over this winter trimester is to reinforce and build on the basic fundamentals we displayed in our Christmas concert. The kids have done an amazing job so far but as I am sure you will see in our spring concert (date TBA) they have lots of skills to learn and practice! Please encourage your students to practice daily!!! Repetition is key when learning a new language, and that is exactly what music is! We will be working hard to motivate your kids here at school however the other 167 hours a week we don't see them is up to you :-D We are very excited to begin working with your students and lessons will resume TODAY.
